![]() ![]() Like, yup.ok, I’m a werewolf, yup ok I’m a badass, ok cool I’m part witch, ohhhh did you say I am a seer too, cool. First she’s special because she survived the change, then she’s second in command, then she’s the alpha’s mate, then she’s immune to silver, then she’s a matefinder, then she finds out she’s adopted and is actually the rare product of a werewolf/witch hybrid, then she’s a future seer, she’s a lethal wolf who beheads super fast, then she can save the werewolf species and then she apparently can make female vampires fertile.I mean are you serious?!!! And the entire time she’s cool with it all. Spoiler alert - The girl is the most rare thing on earth.cue the eye roll. The character didn’t earn any of these talents but seemed to be chosen as the epicentre of the supernatural universe! It was so exasperating. I spent most of my time eye rolling as the main female character continued to be revealed to be one amazing thing after the other, I lost track of all the ways the author made her special. Holy moly what is going on with this story? It’s like sprinting a quadrathlon on a jet pack while listening to a guide to morality. ![]() ![]() Taylor's 2018 novel The Singularity Trap as well as his 2020 novel Heaven's River debuted on the New York Times Bestseller List for Fiction Audiobooks. ![]() Taylor has been noted as one of many popular authors that debut their work in audio form rather than print to take advantage of the explosive growth of the audio medium.
